Non-smoking restaurants and cafes in Plovdiv

Bulgaria has prohibited smoking in indoor public spaces since 2012, with consistent enforcement in newer venues. Plovdiv is an inland city in central Bulgaria on the Maritsa River and one of the country's main cultural centers. Cafes and restaurants are concentrated in two distinct areas: the Old Town (Stariat Grad) on the three hills, where restored 19th-century National Revival houses contain cafes and restaurants in a pedestrian setting; and Kapana, the creative district just west of the main square, which has become the densest cluster of independent cafes and bars in the city. The main square (Ploshtad Tsentralen) and the pedestrian Knyaz Alexander I Street are also lined with venues.

The directory currently lists 58 verified non-smoking venues in Plovdiv. Use the map to explore across Kapana, the Old Town, and the pedestrian center.
